Yes, to LEGAL immigration.
A resounding NO to an invasion of any country by people who, in effect, break that country’s laws by surreptitiously entering a country, use the resources paid with the taxes of that country’s citizens and proceed to break further laws against child trafficking, rape of women, driving on roads without an adequate license, transport illegal drugs into that country causing death to young addicts and the outright murder of its people on the streets. Now, what about any of the above don’t our feckless, effeminate bishops understand?
I’d suggest that bishops first solve the problem of their clergy molesting our young men and leave “migration” matters to the laity who are better-suited to deal with such mundane problems. Let the bishops figure out how Catholics might get to heaven.
Amen.
@ Rupnik is “Credibly Accused”
Chris Altieri analyzes the morbidity of the whole affair, the endless wait for justice – leaving the impression whether not intended that the immensity of it all, the long wait, Rupniks embedded all over sacred places, discrepancies in justice has blown into overwhelming proportions. As if further delay will make it go away, which all that accomplishes is despair that our Church has, without exaggeration, succumbed to the forces of evil.
It will take a monumental effort to remove all the Rupniks if Rupnik is at last juridically convicted. He’s already convicted worldwide. Whatever they decide, they must take action. Or will they? The fading Rupnik scandal presents a decisive judgment for the Church. Will it make the painful, strenuous effort to convict and remove? And open the darkness that has gathered to the sunlight. Or will it delay ad infinitum to its growing irrelevance and moral demise.
Rupnik’s victims will get justice on the Greek Kalends. But it isn’t necessary to wait longer to start removing his hideous “art.”
Regarding Rupnik Accusers Wait for Justice:
“On Tuesday of this past week, Pope Leo XIV asked victims of clerical abuse for patience as the wheels of justice turn.”
After waiting years for justice, after Rupnik still functioning publicly as a priest, when other priests are suspended after a single decades old accusation – if I were one of the victims I would be insulted by this statement from the pope.
You’re right Crusader.
“On Tuesday of this past week, Pope Leo XIV asked victims of clerical abuse for patience as the wheels of justice turn.”
Yet he can’t bring himself to condemn the intrinsic evil of stall tactics, nor can he apologize for them. Nor can he apologize for delays in removing his demented “art.”
Sorry, his attention is turned to the immigration policies of the country he left.
Rupnik is credibly accused of sexually assaulting multiple religious women. Why is he still a priest? This case has dragged on for years. Why is he being protected?
Probably due to the blackmail of mutually-assured-
“disclosures.”
