Spirit Filled Hearts Ministry recently announced that Fr. Stan Fortuna will speak at the upcoming Saint Joseph Summit 2021.

Deacon Steve Greco, president of Spirit Filled Hearts Ministry, will host the summit taking place virtually Sept. 30 – Oct. 3. The summit dedicated to St. Joseph during the year of St. Joseph will host many speakers and is expected to attract Catholics from around the world.

Fr. Stan, one of the eight founding members of the Community of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal (CFR), will speak on the family at the St. Joseph Summit.

“I am here to invite you to the Saint Joseph Summit during the Year of Saint Joseph,” Fr. Stan Fortuna, announced in a promotional video. “I’m going to be focusing on the family, particularly the family, broken, burdened but boundlessly blessed.”

He continued, “There are many lessons we need to learn, that we can learn, that Joseph wants to help us learn.”

Deacon Greco said that Fr. Stan’s “life and witness of faith will bring depth to the upcoming Saint Joseph Summit.” He added, “Father Stan is able to reach the young, families, the poor and all walks of life with a powerful presentation of the Gospel that is life altering.”

Before becoming a CFR, Fr. Stan worked as a jazz musician. Now, he travels, celebrating Mass, giving talks, and performing concerts, with proceeds going to help poor and underprivileged families.

Deacon Greco said, “We are grateful to Father Stan for his presence at this summit and for the charism of St. Francis that he brings to unite to the mission we have to honor St. Joseph, patron of the Universal Church.”

Focusing on both Fr. Stan and the purpose of the summit, Deacon Greco said, “The point of the Saint Joseph Summit is for the purpose of renewal-for families and the Church.”

Fr. Stan will join a line up of speakers, including Sean Cardinal O’Malley of Boston; Timothy Cardinal Dolan of New York; Fr. Donald Calloway, MIC; Dr. Scott Hahn; James Wahlberg; Leah Darrow; Dr. Mark Miravalle; Jason and Crystalina Evert; Fr. Robert Spitzer, SJ; Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco; Archbishop Joseph Naumann of Kansas City in Kansas; and Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers.

The summit is themed “Our Spiritual Father. “How powerful will this be if we all mobilize and lead others by the thousands directly to the heart of Saint Joseph? ” said Deacon Greco.

“This summit is for the whole Church, so let’s do this together! Saint Joseph, pray for us!”
