In addition to details about the making of the movie – which tells a story of physical and spiritual pilgrimage, and which was written and directed by Sheen’s son Emilio Estevez – Sheen also discusses his personal faith and how it has influenced his work, as well as his perspective on being pro-life and living and working in Hollywood.
Toward the end there’s also an interesting little fact about why he chose the last name “Sheen” as his stage name when he was a struggling young actor in the late 50s…
