Coming Home to Rome

“An Episcopal church in Bladensburg has decided to become the first in the country to convert to Roman Catholicism under new Vatican rules, the Episcopal Diocese of Washington announced Monday.”  So says the Washington Post.  The ability of the Catholic Church to establish “ordinariates” to address the Episcopalian/Anglican situation is helping to push some to consider full communion.  We probably won’t see the huge numbers of Episcopalians/Anglicans converting that some anticipated.  Nevertheless, the number of converts from Canterbury is likely to grow.

Check out Ignatius Press’ book, Anglicans and the Roman Catholic Church.  The print book is here.  The e-book is here.
