About Matthew C. Nickel, Ph.D.
Matthew C. Nickel is Associate Professor of English at Misericordia University (Dallas, PA). He holds a Ph.D. in literature from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is the author of Hemingway's Dark Night: Catholic Influences and Intertextualities in the Work of Ernest Hemingway. He is also a poet and editor, and his writing on American and British literature has appeared in a number of journals and scholarly volumes.
