A news brief published in the “World Watch”
section of the November 2011 issue of
Catholic
World Report, on page 10, incorrectly stated that Bishop Robert Finn of
Kansas City-St. Joseph “has acknowledged that he was aware in December 2010 that child
pornography had been discovered on the computer of a diocesan priest, Father Shawn Ratigan.” The sentence should have
read, “Bishop Finn has acknowledged that he was aware in December 2010 that
disturbing photos had been discovered on the computer of a diocesan priest,
Father Shawn Ratigan.”
